ORGANIC FARMING
We passionately work with farmers in practical solutions for all the faming needs. By production of bio inputs, farmers are able to produce safe food from their farms. We research on inputs that are affordable and can be produced using the locally available materials. To make the farming affordable, we encourage diversity and extensive practices to ensure good production on small available spaces. We also source for organic inputs for the needs that can’t be achieved through on-farm production of the inputs.
ENVIROMENT CONSERVATION
Environment have been affected by the climate change globally. We are making efforts to work with the communities to have a mitigation approach that will see our ecosystem is prevented from further degradation. Working with communities and partners, we are focused of conservation activities on farm and off farm such as indigenous trees promotion, food forestry, soil conservation, water tower conservation among others
COMMUNITY EDUCATION
Our communities are not doing inorganic practices because of will, but lack of information on organic production. ECOFACE-KENYA is focused on information dissemination on agro-ecological practices to equip the community members on the best practices that will conserve the soil and ecosystem, improve their farm production and have safe health food to meet their nutritional needs. This is aimed at driving towards the food sovereignty in the society.
